Kylie Jenner Wears Two Different Matching Sets This Weekend

Of course, we can assume that Kylie Jenner wore more than two looks this weekend, but the reality star only posted a careful curation on Instagram, both featuring two vastly different independent designers. Yesterday, she took a pouty #OOTD in an oversized black Chrome Hearts sweatsuit along with her signature bare midriff. But the day before she really dressed up in a saucy two-piece skirt and bandeau set by Charlotte Knowles, the London-based designer that’s a favorite among it girls. Bella Hadid wore a floral-print top and skirt with suspenders by the Central Saint Martins graduate to the VMAs in 2019 and later this past September during Paris Fashion Week, she opted for a tailored olive pantsuit. Solange Knowles and Hunter Schafer are also fans of the designer.

The small designer choice fit right into the reality star’s general style philosophy, allowing Jenner to be herself, midriff and curves and all, but also gave her a little runway cred. (Plus, that red pop of contrast was a great choice for an Instagram double-tap moment.) Typically, Jenner is mostly known for sporting luxury labels—Dior, Versace, and Chanel outfits are her bread and butter. But she has an eye for lesser-known, buzzy designers. At the beginning of this past March, she posed with her daughter Stormi in matching half-moon print bodysuits by French designer and LVMH-winner Marine Serre. Wearing a mix of smaller brands within one’s profile has long been a philosophy among heavy-hitting Instagram stars, and it’s not a bad way to show off one’s taste.
