24 Hours of Serving Looks and Pasta With Saweetie

Think life has slowed down for Saweetie while in quarantine? Think again. The rapper has been keeping up with her busy schedule even while under lockdown. In a new video, Vogue spent 24 hours with the California-born artist to see what a typical day looks like for her. Turns out, she has been steadily working on new “pretty bitch music” while starring in new photo shoots and music videos for her upcoming projects. (Fans, you’ll just have to wait to see them.) In between all of the action, the rapper offered a taste of what at-home life looks like when you’re a global superstar, and served up some looks and some pasta.

Saweetie starts her day at 8 a.m., and does her skincare routine. Then, it’s on to making breakfast, where the rapper made a Filipino spread consisting of rice, beef links, eggs, and biscuits (she was out of Pandesal). (Turns out Saweetie is quite the cook.) After a quick outfit change—to get “quarantine-cute,” as she calls it—she hops into her first project of the day, which is an Instagram Live with the rapper Too Short, and then it’s straight to a photo shoot for one of her upcoming releases. “I’m really excited because I haven’t released music in a year,” she says, hinting. “This is a really big deal for me, my fans, my friends, and my family.”
