Unbelievably enough, the third and final presidential debate before the 2020 election is finally on us, and this Thursday, President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden will finally go head-to-head in person. (In other words, we won’t have to suffer through separate town halls on rivaling networks this time.)
The debate will last 90 minutes total—assuming there are no delays—and will take place at Nashville, Tennessee’s Belmont University. Hopefully, moderator Kristin Welker will take a page out of Savannah Guthrie‘s book and succeed in convincing the candidates to respect time limits and not shout over each other; however, given Trump’s pugnacious debate persona, we don’t envy her the challenge.
In a stroke of good luck for anyone whose nerves were near-permanently set on edge by all the yelling at the first debate, this go-around will feature the ability to cut candidates’ microphones off while their opponent offers two-minute rebuttals to their answers. (Should we, as a society, need to quite literally mute our potential elected leaders just to keep a debate on track? Probably not, but as it stands, thank God for muting technology.)
For those with cable TV access, the debate can be streamed live on all major networks, including ABC, CBS, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox, MSNBC and NBC. The debate can also be watched on Hulu, Sling, Fubo and other subscription streaming services, and can be accessed in full on YouTube.
