The Met Gala is my personal X Games. It’s natural Adderall. No matter how fancy a hotshot you are, there’s somebody in the room who stuns you to silence (and I’m at the bottom of the totem pole, so imagine my stupor). Here are a few of my favorite moments, though there are far too many to cram into a slideshow, from my five years covering the best (non-basement) party of the year.
