Today on Good Morning Vogue: Meet Samuel Ross of A-Cold-Wall

In the five years since he burst onto the London fashion scene, Samuel Ross has emerged as an important voice with his label A-Cold-Wall. A protégé of Virgil Abloh and LVMH prize finalist, the 29-year-old is a part of a new generation of menswear designers who are redefining the parameters of streetwear and high fashion. Beyond bringing a fresh perspective to the luxury space, he’s also sparking larger conversations around social consciousness, community, and mentorship in the industry. When other brands struggled to find an appropriate response to protests in the wake of George Floyd’s murder back in May, Ross swiftly lent meaningful support, offering grants to independent Black-owned businesses and a donation to Black Lives Matter.

Ross sat down with Good Morning Vogue to talk about the unlikely path he has taken in fashion, the very personal references that inform his work, and what he’s doing to help usher in a new wave of young Black British creatives.
